Nintendo Australia has finally lifted the lid off Super Smash Bros on the Australian release date for Super Smash Bros on Wii U. It will release standalone on December 6th for $79.95.
Nintendo have also announced that a Software + GameCube Controller Adaptor will be available for Wii U for $10 more at $89.95. This means that players that still own their Gamecube or Wavebird controllers will be able to turn back the clock and play Super Smash Bros using the traditional GameCube controller.
For those that don’t have any GameCube controllers laying around, Nintendo have also announced that starting December 6th, a standalone GameCube controller will be available for $49.95.
If for some reason you don’t want to purchase the GameCube adaptor as a part of the bundle, you’ll be able to purchase it directly from Nintendo Australia customer service.
