In a Reddit post on r/games, Valve has outlined that they have removed the controversial Paid Mods feature on Steam for Skyrim. You can read the outline here, or the official blog post on Steam.
All money spent on any mods will be refunded. This comes as a bit of relief to the near universal derision against the idea, with many threatening to boycott Steam. An AMA (Ask Me Anything) from Valve’s own Gabe Newell resulted in a huge backlash.
