Starting today, you can download a demo of Splatoon from the Nintendo eShop. This demo will be playable for one hour at 1pm and 9pm on Saturday 9th of May and then again at 5am on Sunday 10th of May. Players will be able to take part in 4-on-4 Turf War battles against other players from across the world.
Players who download the demo will have the chance to get a 10% discount when purchasing Splatoon off the Nintendo eShop between the 30th of May and 4th of June.
Nintendo also announced that five stages will be available from launch with new stages being introduced every few weeks as well as new weapons. A major game update is coming in August which will add further friend matchmaking functionality.
