UPDATE: The newly announced 1TB PS4 console is not the lighter redesigned PS4. This is a separate model that was also announced that is currently exclusive to Japan.
Sony have announced that they’re releasing a revised PS4 model. The revised PS4 has had it’s weight reduced by 10% as well as reduced power consumption by 8%. The HDD cover will now come in matte giving the system a more polished look.
It will release in Australia on July 15th for $549.95. It will release in Japan at the end of June as well as in Europe on July 15th. It will come in Jet black and Glacier White.
