Gametrailers have today announced that it will cease production of content immediately following one last stream taking place tonight. Gametrailers was created 13 years ago when there was no such thing as YouTube or Twitch. They were the go-to source for videogame trailers, reviews and features. They literally paved the way for gaming coverage as we know it today.
Gametrailers was sold to Defy Media in 2014 which saw a restructure of both content and employees.
We wish all the best to the incredibly talented staff.
