Last Friday we took part in the yearly tradition of posting an April Fools’ gag. We decided that the best approach would be to tug at your nostalgic heart strings by teasing the reveal of Crash Bandicoot: A Fool’s End for PS4. We put enough hints in our article to clearly make it an April Fools’ gag, but also put the effort in to create two pieces of original artwork.
In the past 24-48 hours, multiple people on social media have cropped our artwork and repurposed it to position it as a proper Crash reveal which has obviously gone viral worldwide. We’re here to put an end to the madness and let you down gently. This piece of Crash artwork, as awesome as it looks was created by us. The sunset is a beach stock photo, the Crash and Mask silhouettes are blacked out characters builds and the cliff below them has been painted black.
Whilst we’d love for more than anyone for Crash Bandicoot on PS4 to be real, this unfortunately isn’t the case.
