Emily Rogers, a well known industry insider is now reporting that the Nintendo’s main focus when it comes to the Nintendo NX will be based around their own software output. The droughts that plagued that Wii U was seen as a big issue for them and it’s something that they don’t want to repeat.
Emily is claiming that the NX will build a larger library of games in the first year, than the Wii U did in its entire three or four years. Nintendo have completely restricted the entire process of his they develop and produce software from a first party perspective. One of the key factors in this is that multiple unannounced Wii U projects were moved over to the NX.
Emily went as far as reporting that this will potentially mark the highest output of first party software in the company’s history.
