Here’s 14 Glorious Minutes Of Alan Wake 2 Gameplay

The Plot Board thickens.

With Remedy’s highly-anticipated sequel, Alan Wake II, getting a brand-new showing at this week’s Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 showcase, we’re now starting to see raw gameplay footage coming from folks who’ve been able to get their hands on the game at the show.

One of these is YouTube channel, Gamersprey, who’ve uploaded a full 14 minutes of Alan Wake II gameplay (in 4K, no less) for eager fans to pore over. The footage of the game, which recently had its release pushed back by 10 days to give it some breathing room in a ridiculously-busy October, shows Alan exploring the eerily-quiet streets of a cursed replica of New York, engaging in familiar combat against roaming Taken before descending into the subway.

Take a look at the gameplay footage, which also shows Alan using the Plot Board to remix and rewrite his environment on the fly, below:

We recently got the chance to see an in-depth, behind closed doors look at Alan Wake II ourselves with the team at Remedy and came away suitably impressed and ready for more, you can read about that right here.

Alan Wake II releases digitally on October 27th for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
