A Dishonored Spin-Off Is Coming And It’s Got A Great Cast

Dishonored 2 was one of my favourites last year so it’s great to see Bethesda and Arkane working together to bring more depth to the game’s unique yet depressing world.

Today, at their E3 2017 Press Conference, Bethesda have announced Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. Much like Infamous: First Light and Uncharted: Lost Legacy, the game will be a standalone adventure in the series that won’t require Dishonored 2 to play.

Weaving itself intricately into the story of the first two Dishonored games, you’ll play as Billie Lurk in Death of the Outsider, the woman known as Meagan Foster in Dishonored 2. One of the most notorious killers-for-hire, she teams up with her mentor, Daud, to assassinate the outsider himself.

We don’t have much more information besides that, but we do know that Death of the Outsider will take place once more in Karnaca and presumably after the events of Dishonored 2.

Bethesda showed a trailer for the new game and we’re hoping they’ve got both Rosario Dawson and Michael Madsen returning to voice their respective characters from the previous games.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider releases on September 15th for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is available standalone, and will not require Dishonored 2 to play.
