Sony today announced at their E3 press conference that their stance on used games and online only will stay the same as in the previous generation.
Just like on the PS3, you will be able to trade games, sell them or lend them to a friend. In addition games will be completely playable offline and will not require connection to the server to authenticate.
This is a complete contrast to the Xbox One and was met to one of the biggest applauds that i’ve ever seen at E3.
