Minecraft is one of the best selling video game franchises in recent history, so it is no surprise that Warner Bros have apparently just gained the rights to turn the hit game into a big budget movie.
The property is already said to be getting huge interest from writers and film makers for an apartment live-action version. Leaks suggest that Roy Lee will be handling the property for the studio. Lee is already well known for producing The Lego Movie, which has been extremely successful to date.
