Final Fantasy has some of the most iconic music the gaming industry has to offer. Magical arrangements that are capable of taking you to wondrous places of imagination and freedom.
Industry veteran Yoko Shimomura, who’s made such a dent with Final Fantasy and other huge franchises such as Kingdom Hearts and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga will have a compilation of her works released by Square-Enix, and among her work, a never released track from the upcoming Final Fantasy XV will be featured in the album.
Titled “OMNIS LACRIMA”, the track will be featured in the album named memòria: The Very Best of Yoko Shimomura, which will feature many of her most famous works, including rearrangements of other iconic franchises such as tracks from Super Mario RPG, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Mana, and more.
The album will be released on March 26 for 3,000 yen in Japan.
