Grand Theft Auto V Dated For XBO And PS4, Delayed for PC

Rockstar Games have announced this evening that the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V will launch internationally on November 18th, 2014. The PC version will launch shortly thereafter on January  27th, 2015.

This new and updated version of the game will feature a wide range of both visual and technical upgrades – increasing draw distances and rendering at a higher resolution than the original game’s release on older consoles.

Rockstar have promised new weapons, vehicles and activities to complete in Los Santos and Blaine County this time around, as well as additional wildlife, denser traffic, new foliage and enhanced weather and damage effects. The developers have apparently gone to so much effort that many forms of wildlife will have real fur, as opposed to flat textures.

Updating the game further, the newer rendition will feature 100 new songs across the game’s radio stations too.

People who pre-order will receive a million dollars worth of in-game cash to spend both in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. Speaking of which, Grand Theft Auto Online will be making a return with an increased player count (up to 30) as well as the ability to carry over progression and content.

Newer and rarer classic versions of vehicles will return in the game, as well as other gameplay fixes such as a more maneuverable blimp vehicle. Newer activities also include shooting range challenges and wildlife photography challenges.

Rockstar have told fans that this is truly the definitive version of Grand Theft Auto V and more than just a simple remaster, given the changes, we’re inclined to agree.
