It’s perhaps not what we hoped new Metroid games would be, but none-the-less, two Metorid Prime titles have been revealed for the 3DS, Metroid Prime: Federation Force and Metroid Prime: Blast Ball.
Federation Force comes from developers Next Level Games and is a 4-player mission-based game where player complete certain objectives based in the Metroid universe.
Federation Force seemingly includes the second title, Metroid Prime: Blast Ball, a “sci-f sports battle” game, which was teased during the Nintendo World Championships. In Blast Ball, teams of 3 compete against each other to shoot a ball into a goal.
Both are to be released in 2016.
