It has been revealed by Publisher Take-Two that Rockstar Games are thrilled to announce that they have shipped more than 60 million copies of GTA V across all platforms. It’s important to note that this is shipped which means that it hasn’t sold 60 million copies however we would expect that this figure isn’t too far off.
Take-Two chief executive had the below to say
“The largest contributors to [net revenue] in fiscal third quarter 2016 were Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, NBA 2K16, WWE 2K16, and the Borderlands series,” reads the Take-Two financial report.
