Call of Duty and Battlefield have taken their rivalry to a weird new level this year, a YouTube rivalry. Call Of Duty Infinity Warfare’s reveal trailer is now the most disliked trailer of ALL TIME of any medium with an unbelievable 1.4 million dislikes.
On the other hand, Battlefield 1 is now the most liked trailer of ALL time across any medium with 1.1 million likes. This puts it way ahead of any other trailer across tv, movies or video games.
To put it into perspective, Grand Theft Auto V which was one of the largest game releases of all time only reached 280,000 likes since its release. The Dark Knight Rises only reached 86,000 likes.
Obviously, this is a case of the internet jumping on a bandwagon but it’s fairly impressive nonetheless. I don’t think we’ve ever seen such an interesting proposition for these two games series going head-to-head.
