Developer Firaxis has officially announced that on the next chapter in the Civilization franchise, Civilization VI, will launch this upcoming October for PC and Mac.

Civilization VI will run on a brand new engine and will feature several improvements, such as enhancements to the warfare and research features of the game. The game will also borrow some of the new features of the recent spin-off Beyond Earth, which featured several improvements such as enhanced AI characters, which will influence gameplay and provide completely different challenges every time you start a new game.
Sid Meier’s Civilization VI will launch on October 21st for PC and Mac.
