Paramount Television and Anonymous Content have announced the studios are currently developing a Battlefield TV-series based on EA and DICE’s major franchise.
Whilst there is currently no network or platform attached to the project, executive producer Michael Sugar has stated that “Together with EA and Paramount TV, we’ll develop the Battlefield TV series with the same commitment to robust storytelling that has made the game such a runaway success for nearly 15 years.”
Anonymous Content is most prominently known for their hand in the productions of the Revenant and Spotlight, which were both academy award-winning films at the Oscars this year.
Little is known about the project at this stage, but we look forward to seeing what Paramount and Anonymous Content will have in store for the franchise’s transition to scripted television.
