Candy Crush developer King has announced that they are creating a live-action game show in conjunction with CBS and Lionsgate.
The show will be produced by the former producer of Fear Factor and Dancing with the Stars.
“In the series, the game that has become a worldwide phenomenon comes to life as teams of two people use their wits and physical agility to compete on enormous, interactive game boards featuring next generation technology to conquer Candy Crush and be crowned the champion.” said King.
It’s unclear whether the broadcast will make its way to Australia, but it’s incredibly interesting to see how the wildly successful game makes the transition to a live game show. It’ll definitely be popular.
