The Switch’s Battery Life Will Range From Bad To Great

Since it’s announcement, there’s been much speculation – and worry – as to what the battery life for the home console/portable hybrid would be like. Well, we now know, and it isn’t amazing.

At today’s presentation, Nintendo revealed that the battery life would last somewhere between 2.5 and 6.5 hours. Presumably the variance accounts for different uses for the Switch in handheld mode, but we can assume graphically intense gameplay is likely to drain the battery more than other activities and maybe only amount to a couple of hours of use.
