As most of you all know, ABC’s Good Game was cancelled last week. In an awkward sequence of events, the show was cancelled a day before it was revealed that the shows hosts Hex and Nichboy had left for a brand new gaming venture on Channel 7. Although from the surface it looks like this was the main reason for the shows cancellation, it’s clear that the ABC were looking for an out with the show’s audience as well as the need for such a show to exist declining (in their words).

Stephanie ‘HEX’ Bendixen has today provided a response to an angry and upset Good Game fan publicly, in the hope to provide some clarity to the situation.

It’s easy to criticise people without all the information, but Hex is definitely be commended for taking a leap of faith and taking a chance with a brand new venture.

  • I’m disappointed that Good Game has been cancelled, but there’s no hard feelings. Any reasonable person wouldn’t begrudge Hex thinking about her long term career prospects in the uncertain television industry.
