The new Jumanji which features The Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan will be quite different to the original classic, which featured the late Robin Williams.
Titled, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, the movie will tell the story of four teenagers who are playing a video game called Jumanji. The teenager’s in-game avatars will be transported into a world. Each of the characters have their own powers. For instance, The Rock’s character has super-strength whilst Karen Gillan’s character has special dancing abilities.
To go up step further, it appears that Karen Gillan’s character appears to look very closely to that of an old-school Lara Croft.
It won’t be long before we get our first proper look at Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, with the movie scheduled to release later this year.
Honestly, I hope I’m proven wrong, but it sounds pretty average at this point. The original Jumanji is still a classic, so lets hope that it’s not tarnished.
