This Comic Perfectly Sums Up Gaming As An Adult

This comic strip by Adam Ellis has been doing the rounds on my social media feeds this morning, and it’s definitely stuck a nerve with me. When you’re younger, you’ve got all the time in the world after school, on weekends and during school holidays to binge video games, but you often don’t have money to buy them as a younger person.

When you’re an adult, you have money to purchase said video games but little time to play them with cleaning to do, things to cook and pets to look after.

Honestly, it’s my life. I’m constantly thinking or writing about video games, but my time to play them seems to get smaller and smaller. Either I’m too busy to play them, or just can’t find up the energy to boot up my console, perform ten software updates and finally get stuck into a game.
