Some Great GameCube Games Are Reportedly Already Prepared For Nintendo Switch

Eurogamer has reported that Nintendo Switch will be able to play GameCube games via its Virtual Console platform. Sources have confirmed that it’s already been tested and is running well.

In particular, three games have already been prepared for Switch. These include the classics: Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi’s Mansion and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

It is also being reported that there will be an upgrade program similar to that of the Wii U. This means that gamers will be able to upgrade for a small fee rather than buying the game again at full price.

Another great report is the fact that the VC for Nintendo Switch is being engineered by a different team. In particular, the team that prepared the NES Classic Mini which is said to be remarkedly better than what was available on the Wii U.

We’ll find out more about this in January, when the Switch is fully revealed.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
