Niantic has announced that various Pokemon from Generation 2 are making their way to Pokemon GO today.
Pichu, Togepi and various other Gen 2 Pokemon will be acquirable through eggs as of today, which can be acquired through PokeStops.
This is only the first wave of new additions to the game, as Niantic stated that “these are the first of more Pokémon coming to Pokemon Go over the next few months.”
