Yep, Nintendo has confirmed in their Nintendo Switch briefing that it is in-fact region free. This is a big move for Nintendo who once said that they’d never have a console be region-free.
This is especially important for a portable console as it means that you’ll be able to buy games in other countries whilst traveling.
The console is scheduled to be released in multiple territories – including our own – on March 3rd.
