Nintendo has confirmed that neither Streetpass from the 3DS family or Miiverse from the Wii U will be featured onto the Nintendo Switch. It’s clear that Nintendo is going for a more mature approach when it comes to the new premium console.
“I can answer that we’re not going to be using Miiverse or Streetpass for Nintendo Switch,” David Yong said when asked about the feature today.
An odd decision, especially for Streetpass which was incredibly popular on the 3DS. Nintendo continued to support it with no games until just a few months ago.
The Nintendo Switch will launch on March 3rd in Australia for $469.
