Nintendo America has revealed in a press release that Nintendo Switch will not have any form of Virtual Console at launch. It was previously rumoured that the console would launch with GameCube games, but it doesn’t appear to be the case.
We know that Nintendo Switch will have eShop and digital titles on day one, just not those of the retro Nintendo kind.
“Virtual Console games will not be available on Nintendo Switch at launch. We will share more information in the future.”
