The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Nintendo is currently developing a Legend of Zelda game for smartphones.
The game will apparently come after Animal Crossing for mobile, which is scheduled to release in the latter half of 2017 after being delayed.
It’s not clear exactly how the Legend of Zelda would work on mobile and it’s unclear whether the game would be free to play or purchasable for a once off fee.
Nintendo’s mobile games have proven not to be making them much money, however they’re doing some significant things in the marketing department.
