Get Schwifty With Rick and Morty ‘Virtual Rick-ality’ Simulator

Earlier this year, Adult Swim announced Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-ality, a VR game slated for the HTC Vive that comes with equipped with a very short but characteristically kooky trailer that you can watch below:

Initially discovered by Reddit user lashman, it appears that the game has appeared on the Steam store for the very first time. According to the entry on the game’s official page, Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-ality “smashes together the absolute VR chaos of the award-winning Job Simulator with the ridiculous, all-out, take-no-prisoners comedy of Rick and Morty.”

The game requires a play area of at least 2m x 1.5m and appears to be set in Rick’s home laboratory, or Morty’s parents’ garage, depending on how you look at things. The player is invited to assume the role of a Morty clone, exploring the Smith household, Rick’s workshop, and even alien worlds while collecting bizarre specimens for Rick’s experiments, solving puzzles and completing missions in a fully voiced acted adventure.

Unfortunately Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-ality doesn’t have a release window just yet but Austin-based indie developers Owlchemy Labs (Job Simulator) have confirmed that production of the game is well underway. Wub-a-lub-a-dub-dub!
