It has been revealed that Supermassive Games are not currently working on Until Dawn 2. When asked about the sequel to Until Dawn, Supermassive Games said “We’re not working on Until Dawn at the moment”. Until Dawn exceeded Sony’s expectations in less than 2 months so it’s expected that we’ll see a follow-up at some point.
The developer is currently working on Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood (which plays nothing like Until Dawn) and Tumble VR for the PlayStation VR launch. The developer previously expressed their interest in going multi-playform. It is expected that their next AAA release will indeed be multiplatform. It’s important to remember that Sony own the Until Dawn IP so you won’t see a sequel on another platform.
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and Tumble VR will launch alongside Playstation VR in Australia on October 13th.
