Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has officially delayed the upcoming release of the Batman: Return to Arkham collection, which was originally supposed to hit this upcoming July.
A forum post on the WB Games forum by a staff member confirmed the delay yesterday as he stated: “The team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.”
No specific details about the delay were given, though the staff member also stated that Warner and Virtuous Games (the company leading the remaster) have no new release date at this time.
The Batman: Return to Arkham remaster includes Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and all their downloadable content ported to Unreal Engine 4 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
