Ubisoft Are Removing The Hilarious Nudity From Watch Dog 2

Though the nude NPCs in Watch Dogs 2 have entertained the internet all week long, Ubisoft has now issued a statement explaining that it will be removing explicit textures from the game.

Bummer.

“We’re aware that one of the NPC models in Watch Dogs 2 is rendered in a way that is particularly explicit. While Watch Dogs 2 is a mature-rated game, we apologize and will update this NPC model to make it more consistent with other NPC models in the game in a patch to be released this week. We also are working with our first-party partners to ensure that players can continue to play and share all content from the game within the bounds of the first parties’ respective codes of conduct.” Says Ubisoft, after Twitter user and PlayStation 4 player known as Swizzasaur was suspended from the PlayStation Network for using PS4 Share (Warning: explicit content, NSFW) to screenshot  the unsavoury positioning of the previously mentioned “particularly explicit” NPC.

Swizzasaur’s suspension has since been lifted and though Sony has allegedly not responded to questions about the incident, Swizzasaur has expressed that “Watch Dogs 2 is really damn awesome so far” and that nobody should blame Ubisoft for the error.

Thanks, Polygon.
