During CES 2017, third party gaming accessory manufacturer, Nyko, revealed the upcoming Data Bank Pro. This add-on accessory, which Nyko describes as “essential”, expands the internal memory of the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro by allowing the use of an additional 3.5-inch hard drive. The installation process is simple, the Data Bank Pro plugs into the PlayStation’s hard drive bay via the included SATA adapter and USB cable. Following installation the user is then able to cold-swap between the original hard drive and additional hard drive with the flick of a switch.
According to Nyko, the Data Bank Pro will be available in 2017 for an MSRP of USD$39.99 but availability and pricing in Australia have not yet been described.
