Skate 4 could finally be happening. Senior Manager of Community Engagement, Daniel Lingen has excited the gaming world with a single tweet. Tweeting simply “#SKATE4”, Lingen has provided hope for what seemed like the unthinkable. It’s possible that SKATE4 might be on the cards, as there really isn’t any reason for Lingen to tweet something like this.
EA Play will be taking place again just before E3 in June in Los Angeles, and it’s quite possible that EA will want to make a splash with some big announcements.
The Skate series has been dead since 2010 when Skate 3 released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game was recently added to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility which was a big story in it self. The original game has an 85 on Metacritic and it’s largely recognised as the best skating game alongside some of the older Tony Hawk games.
