So, now that we’ve completed and reviewed Outlast 2, we’ve now played through that scene that caused some controversy in the Australian classification board.
Honestly, we can’t help but feel that maybe the scene has been tamed a little from whatever the board originally saw, as whilst there’s some clear sexual acts happening in this scene that lasts a few minutes, there’s nothing to suggest that viewers would be traumatised.
There’s a part specifically in the statement that the ACB released that signalled that there was an act of oral sex, which isn’t at all present here. There’s also some other minor differences.
