Blizzard has announced on Twitter that they accidentally ended the extremely popular Uprising event too early. All of those juicy season loot boxes were pulled as well as the King’s Row Brawl event.
They’ve confirmed that the event is now back online and they’ve extended it for an extra day to prove good faith to all of those Overwatch players.
The event will now run until 10:00am on Wednesday morning.
The statement from Blizzard reads:
Hey everyone,
Earlier this evening, our Overwatch Uprising event ended earlier than intended. This was a mistake and we’ve already re-enabled Uprising Loot Boxes as well as the ability to unlock Overwatch Uprising-themed cosmetics with credits on all platforms.
We’re also working to enable the King’s Row Uprising brawl. Unfortunately, the process of re-enabling the brawl will take a few hours to complete as well as a few hours.
Apologies for the inconvenience and thanks so much for your patience. Overwatch will formally conclude in all regions on May 2nd at 5pm PDt.
