PlayStation Netherlands has sent the rumour mill into overdrive by posting a picture of Spyro the Dragon with current PlayStation mascots including Cat from Gravity Rush, Kratos from God of the War, Crash Bandicoot and Parappa the Rapper.
The interesting thing about this picture is that Spyro is the only one included that hasn’t made his way to the PlayStation 4 yet.
Now, we know that it’s a long-shot, but surely Activision having seen the hype around Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, would at least be thinking about bringing a similar Spyro trilogy to the PlayStation 4.
A few years ago, artwork for both a Crash Bandicoot and Spyro The Dragon remake were shown off, but later revealed that the projects were cancelled. We now know that a Crash trilogy is incoming, so it’s more than possible.
Honestly, this would be huge for PlayStation. A lot of former gamers will be brought back in with both Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon.
