Ubisoft has revealed overnight that Far Cry 5 is due to be released sometime before March 31st, 2018. It’s quite possible that it will release before the end of this year, however Ubisoft would only confirm that it would come in the 2017-2018 fiscal year.
It’s expected that we’ll get to see the reveal at Ubisoft’s E3 conference in just under a month. For now, Ubisoft has rvealed the logo for Far Cry 5.
Previous rumours suggest that the next Far Cry game will be set in the Wild, Wild, West, although obviously Ubisoft have not confirmed or denied this. Considering it’s a brand new numbered entry, it’s highly likely that we’ll be going to a new location with a new set of characters.
