The Next Assassin’s Creed Name and Protagonist Have Leaked

It’s almost certain now that the next Assassin’s Creed game will be called Assassin’s Creed Origins. This means that we’ll likely be going back to ancient Egypt which sounds phenomenal on paper.

Sources have provided Comicbook.com with upcoming merchandise for the game which confirm the name ‘Assassin’s Creed Origins’. There’s also some sort of ancient Egyptian glyph on the Assassin’s Creed logo which adds some weight to that rumour.

On another piece of merchandise, the protagonist for the game also appears to have leaked. Whilst we don’t have a name yet, it does seem to fit in with the timeline that has been rumoured for many months.

All is set to be revealed in the coming days with Ubisoft’s E3 press conference taking place in just a few weeks. It’s looking like Assassin’s Creed Origins might release in 2017 with the news that Far Cry 5 will now release in 2018.
