According to CD Projekt RED, several of the developer’s internal files are being held for ransom by hackers. The developer took to Twitter to explain the situation:

It’s not clear what kind of content is stored on the stolen internal files, whether it might be screenshots, gameplay footage, concept art, all or none of the above. Regardless, CD Projekt RED has made it clear to fans of the upcoming RPG that if the files do eventually leak, they are not an accurate reflection of the game in its current state.
