Xbox One Gamers Can Finally Play Online With PC Gamers For The First Time Ever With Tonight’s Rocket League Update

Independent video game developer Psyonix, has just announced that Rocket League will be the first game to support cross-network between the Xbox One and PC. With this update that is due to go live later tonight, players will not be able to include cross-network rivals in both public and private matches. You will also have the option to not include-cross network rivals with a simple checkbox.

“We’re really excited to bring Xbox One and PC players closer together,” said Jeremy Dunham, Vice President, Psyonix. “Cross-network play has been something that Xbox One gamers have been asking us for since the day we launched, and thanks to Microsoft’s new cross-network policies, we’re proud to give it to them.”

This is a pretty huge deal as Rocket League now becomes the first game to allow cross-network play between Xbox One and PC.
