EB Games’ Xbox Series X/S Trade Deals Are Actually Even Better Than First Thought

Following the local price and release date of the Xbox Series X/S, EB Games has now confirmed the trade deals for both consoles.

UPDATE: We’ve now confirmed with EB Games that these prices are even better with EB World memberships. If you’re a level 4 member, you’ll get 20% extra trade value. Obviously, if you’re level 1, 2 or 3, you will still get more value but not as much as Level 4.

TRADE DEALS FOR LEVEL 4 MEMBERS:

  • The Xbox Series X will be $329 when you trade in your Xbox One X (Level 4)
  • The Xbox Series S will be $259 when you trade in an Xbox One S  (Level 4)
  • The Xbox Series X will be $509 when you trade in an Xbox One S (Level 4)
  • The Xbox Series S will be $79 when you trade in an Xbox One X (Level 4)

TRADE DEALS FOR NON EB WORLD MEMBERS:

  • The Xbox Series X will be $399 when you trade in your Xbox One X
  • The Xbox Series S will be $299 when you trade in an Xbox One S
  • The Xbox Series X will be $549 when you trade in an Xbox One S
  • The Xbox Series S will be $149 when you trade in an Xbox One X

We’ve also now confirmed that you’ll get these discounts off either console (so you’ll be able to trade a One S towards a Series X and a One X towards a Series S). The original Xbox One will get you $150 off (an extra 20% if you’re a Level 4 member.

Both of these are actually quite reasonable. The Xbox Series S in particular for $299 when trading in an Xbox One S is extremely decent. The Xbox One S has regularly been available to buy brand new for less than $200 in recent times.

As we reported last night, EB Games has confirmed that pre-orders will be online only and will require a $200 deposit. Just for clarity, once you pre-order online, you will be able to go into store and trade in your console, add money to your pre-order etc.
