ESL Australia Have Partnered with St.George Bank For National Championship

ESL Australia have today announced that St. George Bank will be the inaugural presenting partner for Season Two of the ESL National Championship in Australia and New Zealand.

The ESL AU & NZ Championship is a regional championship event for several competitive eSports games across Xbox One, PC, Tablet and Mobile. This partnerships sees the St. George bank become the first bank in Australia to partner with an eSports provider. It is also the first sign of major support for competitive gaming from a brand that is not usually associated with electronic gaming or the technology sector.

Ross Miller, The General Manager of St. George bank had a bit to say about why online gaming is important to both his family as well as the St. George brand.

Season Two of the ESL AU & NZ Championship kicks off at 7pm tonight and will run until November. Gamers from all over Australia and New Zealand will compete for over $35,000 in prize money.
