Well, they’ve now rebranded the team the ‘Bombers’ with a brand new logo and launched them ahead of the upcoming OPL.
Further to this, a number of local players have arrived at Essendon HQ and international players are flying in to be apart of the squad.

I know we’ve seen some serious movements in the Australian Esports scene, but this is the one that resonates with me the most. I’m an Essendon FC supporter and the fact that they’ve rebranded a top-tier Esports team as the ‘Bombers’ is definitely going to draw a lot of people in that had not been previously exposed to Esports.
The OPL begins this weekend and you’ll be able to see the Bombers in action.
