Gaming over the years has provided some epic video game romances. Going all the way back to Pac-Man and MS. Pac-Man and more recently with Nathan and Elena Drake. We decided to wrap up the top 10.
NATHAN AND ELENA DRAKE
Couple since: 2007
Franchise: Uncharted
PlayStation’s most iconic couple. We’ve been able to follow their love story from the first game all the way to being married in Uncharted 4.
MARIO AND PEACH
Couple since: 1985
Franchise: Super Mario Bros
Nintendo’s poster couple. Peach still manages to get kidnapped constantly after 25 years.
LINK AND ZELDA
Couple since: 1986
Franchise: The Legend of Zelda
Whilst not officially confirmed, It’s been well speculated that Zelda and Link are love interests, at least in some of the games. There have been numerous times where the two have shown affection to each other.
TOAD AND TOADETTE
Couple since: 2003
Franchise: Super Mario Bros
Toad and Toadette were confirmed to be a couple in Mario Kart: Double Dash, they’ve appeared in various Mario games together including Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
PAC-MAN AND MS. PAC-MAN
Couple since: 1981
Franchise: Pac-Man
Potentially one of gaming’s first couples, Ms. Pac-Man was released after the original game and was aimed at more feminine gamers.
MASTER CHIEF AND CORTANA
Couple since: 2001
Franchise: Halo
Master Chief and Cortana have proven time and time again that they trust each other and are willing to stick by each other. Who wouldn’t want a holographic AI girlfriend?
ELLIE AND RILEY
Couple since: 2014
Franchise: The Last Of Us
Whilst not yet a couple, Ellie and Riley’s relationship in The Last Of Us DLC was absolutely incredible to watch. Seeing a more vulnerable side of Ellie through her relationship with Riley was amazing.
CRASH BANDICOOT AND TAWNA

Franchise: Crash Bandicoot
Even every bodies favourite Bandicoot could find love. In the form of Tawna, we got to see a more loved-up side to Crash. She’s even set to be making a return in Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy.
DIDDY AND DIXIE KONG
Couple since: 1995
Franchise: Donkey Kong Country 2
It’s not 100% known that Diddy and Dixie Kong are lovers, but it is known that despite them having the same surname, that they’re not related. We know that Dixie Kong is Donkey Kong’s cousin and Diddy and Donkey Kong are not related. It’s a possibility that we’re not giving up on.
GENJI AND MERCY

Franchise: Overwatch
Whilst not confirmed as an official couple, it’s been hinted as extensively that Genji and Mercy are a love interest to be watched.
