That time of the year is finally here. The E3 press conferences are just a few days away and that means that the week of dreams will be upon us.
We spoke about our E3 predictions on this week of the Start Cast, which you can listen to below.
We also put the question to you last night. What is your dream E3 game announcement?
Without doubt your most common E3 dream reveals are:
- Banjo
- Splinter Cell
- Fable 4
- Skate 4
- Commander Keen
- Super Mario Sunshine 2 (or Remaster)
- Alan Wake
- F-Zero
- Simpsons Hit And Run
- Need For Speed Most Wanted
- Rocksteady’s Game
- Ratchet and Clank
It’s an extremely interesting time where nostalgia is almost a pretty easy win for most video game publishers. We’ve seen Crash Bandicoot and Spyro trilogies outsell majority of other major game releases in two consecutive years and classic franchises such as Mario, Zelda and Halo are still top of the pack.
With Sony not having a press conference this year, it means that the potential for these dream announcements are really restricted to Xbox or Nintendo’s conference for the most part. Unless Sony pull a sneaky and hold some kind of Days of Play stream to really shake things up.
Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Square Enix and Bethesda will all do their very best to make our wildest dreams come true. You can check out our Australian time table for all of the E3 press conferences right HERE.
