The Pokemon Company have overnight announced several new updates to the latest Pokemon projects in the works to celebrate the franchises’ anniversary.
POKEMON DIAMOND AND PEARL ARE GETTING THE REMAKE TREATMENT
Called Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the games feature a new cutesy art direction. They’re both heading to Nintendo Switch later this year.
A BRAND NEW, OPEN-WORLD PREQUEL GAME WAS ANNOUNCED TOO
It’s called Pokemon Legends: Arceus and is releasing in early 2022. The game features an art style similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and takes Pokemon to an open-world like never seen before.

You can edit your photos now, adding stickers and frames to give a personal touch. You can even share photos online now and look at everyone’s elses. The Louvre who? Oh and Celebi came here to partay.

All-in-all, an exciting Pokemon Direct and with Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl as well as Pokemon Legends: Arceus all releasing within the next 12-18 months, it’s going to be an exciting time to be not only a Pokemon fan but a Nintendo Switch owner. It’s going to be exciting to see how the open-world game shapes up.
