When you finish Resident Evil 3, you might be surprised to discover that the game doles out its unlockables a little bit differently. You’ll unlock a shop at the end of your first run, and in this shop you can purchase items that can help to make your escape from Raccoon City a little bit easier on your next run.
Points are earned by completing “records” in the game. Every achievement or trophy in the game is tied to a record, but you can also complete other Records to earn some extra points too.
As an example, you’ll earn 1000 points by completing the Goodbye, Charlie! record, which is awarded for finding all the Charlie Dolls in the game.
Completing the game without opening an item box will unlock the Minimalist record as well as an achievement/trophy, and also give you around 7000 points.
Once you finish the game, you can see how many points each record will net you.
