Square Enix Ltd, today announced that FINAL FANTASY® XIV: A Realm Reborn™ will enter the Closed Beta phase for the Windows PC on Tuesday, February 26 (ANZ), welcoming the most loyal fans into the fully-redesigned, massively multiplayer online (MMO) adventure.
To assist players with quickly and easily assessing their gaming PC’s hardware and performance, SQUARE ENIX has made the new FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn benchmark software available today as a free download at the benchmark site.
Closed Beta players will be able to try out the new Full Active Time Events, or “FATE,” as part of the new gameplay system. Players can participate in these randomly occurring events by simply being within proximity of the event, without the need to form parties.
